Environmental Stakeholders Forum
After considering the matter, the Trustees felt that a special sub-committee be formed to take on this matter.
The on-going iron ore contamination of dwellings in Paradise Beach continues to cause great concern.
The Association has applied for membership of the Langebaan Ratepayers Association, who has been engaging directly with Portnet in this regard. It is recommended that members register and support their environmental causes. For further information, please view their website on www.lrra.co.za.
Notwithstanding the above, affected members are encouraged to engage directly with Portnet in this regard. The Portnet contact person is their Environmental Manager, Elmie Botha, who can be contacted at elmie.botha@transnet.net.
